As communication officers we try to influence researchers to participate in the media or other public arenas. Researchers on the other hand often feel hindered by lack of time, fear of being misquoted or subjected to negative attention.
At the Communications Department at Malmö University we asked some of our most publicly active researchers to share their media experiences in short video clips that are now presented on the university web site as well as used in presentations and workshops for other researchers. An example of how communication officers and researchers can collaborate to inspire others to reach out.
